Rotary Club of Madhyapur is a dynamic and service-driven organization comprising energetic and socially committed individuals from diverse professional and business backgrounds. As a proud member of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan, the club is dedicated to advancing Rotary’s core mission of “Service Above Self.”
Officially chartered on 28th June 2011, Rotary Club of Madhyapur was established under the leadership of Charter President Rtn. Surendra Bikram Prajapati, beginning its journey with 33 committed charter members. The club’s formation was made possible through persistent teamwork and the invaluable guidance of the Rotary Club of Dhulikhel, which served as the sponsoring club.
Special acknowledgment is given to Past District Governor Rtn. Kesab Kunwar, who acted as the Governor’s Special Representative during the chartering process, and Rtn. Ashok Shrestha, Past President of Rotary Club of Dhulikhel, whose mentorship and unwavering support were key to establishing the club’s foundation.
Since its inception, Rotary Club of Madhyapur has remained actively involved in numerous humanitarian and developmental initiatives. The club has successfully implemented several Global Grant Projects, District Grants, and independent service activities focused on areas such as health, education, clean water, youth empowerment, vocational training, disaster relief, and environmental conservation.
Operating under the umbrella of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan, Rotary Club of Madhyapur has grown into a respected and influential service club, consistently contributing to the betterment of communities in the Madhyapur region and across Nepal.
With a vision rooted in Rotary values, Rotary Club of Madhyapur continues to play a vital role within the Rotary Club of Nepal network and is committed to building peace, fostering development, and creating lasting change—locally and globally.
