World Toilet Day Service Project

On November 19, 2025 (Mangsir 3, 2082), in observance of World Toilet Day, the Rotary Club of Madhyapur joined 13 other Rotary clubs under the Rotary Action Group 2025–26 to implement a community service project at the Dharmasthali Police Post. The initiative was carried out in coordination with the Rotary District 3292 Basic Education and Literacy Committee.

The project focused on upgrading sanitation facilities at the police post, which had sustained damage during the Gen-Z Movement on September 8–9, 2025 (Bhadra 23–24). The improved facilities will benefit 192 police personnel while also enhancing sanitation services for members of the public who visit the station.

As part of the initiative, the Rotary Action Group donated two computers and one printer to strengthen the police post’s administrative capacity and improve the efficiency of its daily operations.

Speaking on the occasion, Rotary representatives expressed their satisfaction in contributing to the project, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the welfare of police personnel through improved infrastructure, sanitation, and essential office equipment.

This collaborative initiative reflects Rotary’s ongoing dedication to creating healthier, more efficient public service environments and strengthening community partnerships through meaningful service projects.
